Washington County Tactical Range will be expanding their shooting range onto Washington County Archery Course over the next 30 days. Members of Washington County Archery Range can either get a full refund for their membership or receive a free membership to Washington County Tactical Range.

We will be moving all 3D targets off of the archery range in next two weeks.

The tentative plan is to put in a 5-bench 200+ yard shooting area but still very much in planning stages. We will keep you updated on design decisions.

We are VERY excited to announce our latest machine gun acquisition... wait for it.... an authentic, factory full-auto, FN Herstal M249 PARA SAW belt-fed machine gun chambered in 5.56 NATO. This is a huge purchase for us.. now it will take about 4 or 5 months for it to arrive, but we will definitely have an event to showcase this weapon. We purchased the PARA version which is lighter and shorter then the standard M249.

From Wiki: The M249 light machine gun (LMG), formerly designated the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), and formally written as Light Machine Gun, 5.56 mm, or the .223 military rnd. The M249, is the American adaptation of the Belgian FN Minimi, a light machine gun manufactured by the Belgian company FN Herstal (FN). The M249 is manufactured in the United States by the local subsidiary FN Manufacturing LLC in South Carolina and is widely used in the U.S. Armed Forces. The weapon was introduced in 1984 after being judged the most effective of a number of candidate weapons to address the lack of automatic firepower in small units. The M249 provides infantry squads with the heavy volume of fire of a machine gun combined with accuracy and portability approaching that of a rifle.

Does this look like a level 1 pistol class to you? Well, it is. If you focus like a laser on what is important and discard what is not, you can achieve amazing results in a compressed timeframe. Our shooters begin their presentation from a "fending" position, and they work from concealment right from the start. Protective Pistol 1 is not your average class. Our next PP1 event will be June 17th in West Alexander, PA. #protectivepistol1 #pistoltraining #firearmstraining #concealedcarry #safeaccurateconfident #protectiveshootingconcepts
